My number one goal when teaching is to help my students cultivate a curious and compassionate relationship with themselves. Therefore, there are no "shoulds" or "supposed to's" in my class. While there are certainly rules of alignment I teach to keep the body safe, I think of a yoga practice much more like a science experiment rather than a performance (check out my bio in the About section for more information on this). Modifications are given in every class so each student can tailor the practice to best suit them. I strive to create a fun, lighthearted, and supportive environment so everyone feels safe and able to play and explore.
