Simplify Yoga
Logo and Website Redesign • Social Media • Email Marketing
I was hired by Michelle, the owner of Simplify Yoga, to do a complete rebrand with an updated logo and website. Michelle had two colors, an orange and blue, she wanted to base the new look on. Simplify caters to a lot of older adults and beginner yogis so the goal was to create a welcoming feel and easy to read collateral.​

Michelle had a logo she like but she did not have working assets. I created a vector version of her design and added a version that incorporated her new brand colors.

The old website was full of various fonts and colors, creating an outdated and confusing look. I simplified (see what I did there?) the design to create consistency through the layout and font choices. The brand colors are quite bold so I kept the rest of the design simple and grounded, even using the wood grain texture of the studio floor in the background.
On the home page, I used this fantastic photo of real students in a real class to welcome visitors. Many of Simplify's students are new to yoga and yoga can be intimidating! This was a great way to break the ice, so to speak, and make the studio less mysterious.

Since much of Simplify's clientele are older, it was very important to keep the site simple and easy to use. Many students do not have social media, therefore the website is still a critical piece of marketing and information sharing.

I also created email templates based on the new branding. Simplify sends out a monthly newsletter as well as event reminders and notices.

I created headers using illustrations based on object in the studio (like the star lights).

For several years, I handled Simplify's social media, creating daily posts for Facebook and Instagram. I created Facebook events and handled any paid advertising through the social media platforms.

To this day, I continue to compile and create any email marketing for Simplify. Simplify has meant so much to me in my personal and professional life and I am so honored to still be involved.
